Formerly this bank called Travancore Federal Bank, But in  02 Dec.1949 names has been changed to  Federal Bank under the Bank Regulation Act 1949.This is the private sector commercial Bank. According to the survey held in 31 Mar.2016, this bank has 1252 branches and 1680 ATM around the country.

Eligibilty criteria

Bank has mentioned eligibility criteria for the candidates who want to apply.

Age eligibility: The age of the candidate with in 18-26 years as on 01/Jul/2017. Age should not exceed 26 years and not precedes 18 years.

For officer rank, age criteria would not exceed 26 years.

For clerk rank, age criteria would not exceed 24 years.

 

Qualification Eligibility: Educational Qualification of the candidates are same for the different posts  – Graduation from any recognized University/College with at-least 60% marks


 

Remuneration/ Salary:

Officer: The pay scale for the Officers would be 23,700-42,000/- All allowances included.

Clerks: The pay scale for the Clerks would be 11,765/- including allowances.

Exam Pattern:

Exam pattern for the different posts offered by the bank would be same but of different marks & for a different time.

For officer, it would be of  150 marks for 90 minutes, which includes the English language -30 marks

Quantitative /Numerical ability-30marks

Logical aptitude-30 marks

General &social economics/ Banking awareness-25marks

Computer awareness -20marks

Digital Banking-15marks

For clerks exam would be for 90 marks  for 60 minutes, and marks are distributed which includes the

English language -20 marks

Quantitative /Numerical ability-20 marks

Logical aptitude-20 marks

General &social economics/ Banking awareness-10 marks

Computer awareness -10 marks

Digital Banking-10 marks

There will be 0.25 negative marking for each wrong answer.


Selection Process:

Selection of the candidate will be on the basis of online Aptitude Test, GD & Interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the Group discussion and Interview. Shortlisted candidates will be made on the basis of the  performance of the candidate in Online aptitude test.


Application Fees:

For officers: The application fees will be charged for the General category is 700/- and for SC/ST it will be 350/-

For Clerks: Application fees will be charged for the General category is 500/- and for SC/ST it will be 250/-


Instructions for Candidates:

Before filling the applicant must ensure that he /she fulfills all criteria mentioned above.

No fraudulent documents will be valid.

Documents required at the time of online aptitude test will be the Printed Online application form, Call letter and valid ID proof.
